Pray for our pastor. He is a good shepherd. His flock is the world and that is hard to take on. He has compassion fatigue and he is bearing the burdens of guilt that he cannot save the world. Jesus did that. Give him a day, lord. A day not to be a father and husband, a day not to be a pastor. A day to be with you and himself. Alone time is necessary lord, please let him see that. I pray for tenacity and clarity for him. Every tool must be sharpened, and to do that we must take it out of service for a sec. Take your tool out of service for a bit lord and let him sharpen his edges that he may better serve you.
